Change account stop status
Placing an account on stop will prevent fuel being drawn using any of cards operated by the account.
Stopping an account
To stop an account, you need to provide a reason for doing so. If the account that you are trying to stop has any sub accounts then you will be asked if you would like to place all of those on stop at the same time. If you choose the reason of "Transferred to an alternative card system" you will then be asked to specify which card system.
WARNING: If you elect to permanently stop the account, it cannot subsequently be taken off-stop and will be deactivated as soon as all of it's cards have expired.
Off-stopping an account
To off-stop an account, you do not need to provide a reason. If the account that you are trying to off-stop has any sub-accounts then you will be asked if you would like to take them all off stop at the same time. You will not be allowed to off-stop an account that has been placed on permanent stop.
Please be aware that a stop request can take upto 24 hours to be applied to all of the sites across the Keyfuels network, with an off-stop request potentially taking upto 3 days in some circumstances.
