Unallocated transactions breakdown
Unallocated transactions are transactions that have a registration that is either not recognised as belonging to any of your vehicles or it does not conform to a known registration number format.
Available to users that are subscribed to Keyfuels Intelligent Reporting Information System.
Transactions with unknown registrations that could not be automatically allocated to vehicles in your fleet
If a transaction is received by Keyfuels that has a registration that is either not recognised as belonging to any of your vehicles or it does not conform to a known registration number format, it will not have been used as part of the performance calculation for a vehicle. You can change the registration number of the transaction to allow it to be correctly matched with the corresponding vehicle.
Transactions with unknown registrations that have been allocated to vehicles in your fleet
If a transaction is received by Keyfuels that has a registration that is either not recognised as belonging to any of your vehicles or it does not conform to a known registration number format but you have the IRIS "Auto Admin" facility activated, Keyfuels' intelligent reporting engine can in most cases assume the correct registration so that it can be used as part of the performance calculation for the vehicle.
There are three registrations associated with an unallocated transaction:
- An "Unknown" registration can occur when a registration is manually entered incorrectly by a driver/cashier during a transaction.
- An "Assumed" registration is what our intelligent reporting engine thinks should have been entered based on the card that was presented.
- The "Actual" registration is the value stored against the transaction (which is the one that you can change).
Please note unless you have the have the IRIS "Auto Admin" feature activated (which is highly recommended), then all transactions without exact registrations will be classed as Unknown.
