Fuel price advice calendar
The fuel price advice calendar details all historic, current and future fuel price advice values.

Fuel price advice is a mechanism for allowing you to associate a price/markup value with any product at both standard and discounted site types. The value can be either pence per litre for fuel or a markup percentage for retail items such as lube oil etc. These values can be changed as frequently as required (max. one per product type, per day). You may also add values to be applied for future transactions. These prices will then appear on your reports alongside the transactions themselves.

By default, only currently applied fuel price advice values are displayed. Using the options at the top of the screen, you can also display historic, future and all fuel price advice values.

Future dated charge methods
Future dated charge methods (denoted using a green arrow) are fuel price advice entries that have not yet come into effect. When the date of the charge method is reached, all transactions of that product type will have the given charge method applied to them.

Current charge methods - (default view)
Current charge methods (denoted using an orange arrow) are fuel price advice entries whose value is currently in effect. All transactions of that product type will have the given charge method applied to them until a future date charge method comes into effect.

Historic charge methods
Historic charge methods (denoted using a red arrow) are fuel price advice entries that have been applied in the past but have not been superseded by a current charge method.

The details displayed in the list are:
  • Account pricing type - this should always be commercial.
  • Product - the product type to associate the new price/markup value with.
  • Effective - the date that you would like the new price/markup value for the selected product to become effective. This must be in the format DDMMYYYY and be dated on or after today.
  • Charge method - how the value is to be applied: either price (in pence), markup (in percent) or zero priced (free) to apply a null charge for the selected product
  • Standard site - the value of the price or markup to be applied at standard sites across the Keyfuels network.
  • Discounted site - the value of the price or markup to be applied at your agreed discounted sites across the Keyfuels network.
